Six Word Memoirs: Future

Writers Note:

This is my six word memoir for my future. I think this message is pretty self explanatory. I think the picture fits in very well with the message I'm trying to convey. I wanted to pick a picture that has a lot of colours and was very bright. I also added a bit of a boost effect to make some of the bold colours stand out. I wanted my picture for my future memoir to be very bright and happy. That is why I picked this one. Overall I wanted to convey a happy message that's why I tried to find a happy up beat font that would convey this message. I picked the white font because I thought it fit in very well over the blue sky and the white clouds. I added an exclamation mark at the end of my six words because I wanted to end the sentence with a very strong message!

Six Word Memoirs: Past

Writers Note:

This is my six word memoir for my past. I picked this picture because I thought it was something a lot of people would be able to relate to. And would understand. Without this picture specifically people would have thought of  all sorts of things because everyone's pasts are different. I picked to do the picture black and white because I thought the effect went well with the picture and the message. I added yellow for the font because I wanted to add a little bit of color because I wanted the message to stand out. I also knew that yellow would stand out well on top of a black and white picture.

Six Word Memoirs: Confessions

Writers Note:

This is my six word memoir for my confession. I think without the picture you would be able to understand that the message must be about someone I lost. I think the six words can relate to many people, the picture just relates to me personally. I had a harder time editing this one because I wasn't sure really how to. I wanted to get some what of a older looking effect but I couldn't find the right one. The font I picked was supposed to convey a message that wasn't the happiest. But I wasn't sure how to do that either. I picked grey because I didn't want the message to come across as bold as black would have made it. That is why I thought grey worked out best because it was very dull.

Six Word Memoirs: Family

Writers Note:

This is my six word memoir for family. I think the six words itself describes exactly what I wanted it to. I think without the picture you would still be able to understand the message I am trying to convey. I think the picture just adds a little something more to it. I picked the font I did because I thought it was a very happy font and made my message convey that. I picked the colour pink for my font because I thought it conveyed love and happiness in my message.

Six Word Memoirs: Me

Writers Note:

This is my six word memoir for me. These are my grandparents and I think my message is very clear. I think without the picture you wouldn't have a clear idea on exactly what I want. With this picture it shows exactly what I wanted the message to convey. I chose a light sepia effect because I wanted a older look on the picture. I picked the font I did because I thought that it showed a very happy message. I picked the white colour for my font because I thought it looked very bold over top of the sepia effect.

Six Word Memoirs: Growing Up

   Writers Note:

This is my six word memoir for growing up. I think its pretty clear that this is about me and my sister. I think that my picture definitely made that more clear because if I didn't have the picture you wouldn't know who it would be about. I picked to add a comma right after up because I thought it was appropriate and much needed. Without the comma I don't think my message would have been read as its supposed to be. I chose the font I did because I thought it was some what bouncy and fun. The black color was bold, so I wanted the words to stand out. Its also very hard to pick a color that is readable when its overlaping other colors.

Six Word Memoirs: Hate

Writers Note:

I chose this picture to go along with my word choice because I thought a lot of girls that looked at this would understand where I'm coming from and would agree completely.  If I chose a different picture I don't think the message would have gotten across as well as this one. I didn't pick to have any punctuation because I thought that there wasn't any that needed to be added and without punctuation it would still make sense. Also that without any punctuation I would still be able to get the message across that I wanted to.

Six Word Memoirs: Love

Writers Note:

I think the image and word choice fit together very well. I feel like the picture made it more clear to what I was trying to covey with the six words I used. I think It showed exactly what I wanted. I think the white letters make it stand out. I think white is a very bold colour and its very easy to see in this picture, which is why I chose white. Some editing techniques I used were to blur out her face so you can see that the other girls are talking about her which is one of the main messages in this picture. I used a comma after me to try and convey somewhat of a dramatic pause.
